Three Tracks, One Progression

Each track builds on the previous, moving from statistical foundations through neural network engineering to production deployment.

Foundations of Machine Learning
8 weeks · ~10 hrs/week

Foundations of Machine Learning

Python for data work, linear algebra and probability applied to models, classical supervised and unsupervised methods, feature preparation and evaluation. For developers with some programming background.

  • Live sessions twice weekly (MYT)
  • Six graded assignments with written feedback
  • Project on a public dataset
  • Code review from a practising engineer
Applied Deep Learning Engineering
16 weeks · 12–15 hrs/week

Applied Deep Learning Engineering

Neural networks in PyTorch, convolutional and sequence architectures, transformers, transfer learning, distributed training on rented GPUs, dataset construction and error analysis.

  • GPU credits for coursework included
  • Four project milestones reviewed individually
  • Personal mentor for the full term
  • Study group of 8–12 learners
AI Systems Engineering Track
24 weeks · ~15 hrs/week

AI Systems Engineering Track

Serving architectures, batching and latency work, retrieval pipelines, evaluation harnesses, monitoring and drift detection, cost modelling and the operational practices that keep a deployed system honest.

  • Cloud credits included
  • Two architecture reviews with engineers
  • Capstone defended before a panel
  • Portfolio preparation sessions

What Makes the Difference

Evening Schedule

Live sessions twice weekly, scheduled for Malaysian time zones so you can study around a working day.

Practising Engineers as Reviewers

Code review and architecture feedback comes from engineers who work with these systems professionally, not from automated graders.

Compute Included

GPU and cloud credits are bundled into the relevant tracks. You spend time on the work, not on configuring billing accounts.

Sequential Curriculum

Each track is designed as a coherent progression. Concepts from week two appear again in week six, applied to harder problems.

Small Study Groups

The deep learning track places you in a group of 8–12 learners for collaborative problem-solving across the term.

Completion Records

Each track produces a detailed completion record describing what was covered, the project scope and the feedback received — something concrete to show.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need prior experience with AI before enrolling? +

The Foundations track is written for developers and analysts who have some programming background but have not studied statistical learning before. For the Applied Deep Learning and AI Systems tracks, we recommend completing Foundations first, or having equivalent experience training models at work.

How are the live sessions scheduled for learners in Malaysia? +

Live sessions run twice weekly in the evening, in Malaysian time (MYT). Recordings are made available after each session for learners who cannot attend at the scheduled time.

What computing equipment do I need locally? +

A modern laptop with at least 8 GB of RAM is sufficient for the Foundations track. The deep learning and systems tracks use GPU compute provided through bundled cloud credits — you run training jobs on remote hardware, so a local GPU is not required.

How long is each track and what is the weekly time commitment? +

Foundations runs for eight weeks at roughly ten hours per week. Applied Deep Learning Engineering runs sixteen weeks at twelve to fifteen hours per week. AI Systems Engineering runs twenty-four weeks at around fifteen hours per week.

What do I receive when I complete a track? +

Each track produces a completion record that lists the topics covered, the project work completed and the feedback received. The longer tracks include a project portfolio attachment. These are practical documents describing what you studied and built.

What is the pricing and how is payment handled? +

Foundations is priced at RM 690, Applied Deep Learning Engineering at RM 2,480, and AI Systems Engineering at RM 4,450. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit. Contact us for payment details and any instalment options.

How is my personal data handled? +

Enquiry information is used only to respond to your questions and to administer your enrolment. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
